Job Overview:
* Provide customer service to customers at the Nintendo World Store in New York City * Assist customers in purchase of Nintendo branded merchandise and products * Provide customers with product information and demonstrations * Cross-sell and up-sell merchandise; recommend products to meet customers? * Perform cash register and merchandise restock duties * Works effectively within a team environment * Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment * Supports the tasks and procedures of assigned work group/team * Ability to adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines * Enthusiasm towards and willingness to learn about gaming Additional Information: * This is a seasonal, contract position. * Candidates need to be comfortable with a seasonal position, but also should be aware that "Top Performers" are recognized and can be brought on direct. * Dress Code: Jeans/Khaki; Blue/Black Nintendo shirt (provided by Nintendo Performance Expectations * Measured - Approach customers, engage in demonstrations, no latenesses or absences * First day - they will be training on products/procedures Work Environment: * Retail environment * Regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching * Dress Code: Jeans/Khaki; Blue/Black Nintendo shirt (provided by Nintendo) Potential Shifts: * 10:00AM-7:00PM * 11:00AM-8:00PM * 9:30AM-5:30PM Schedule Breakdown: * In regard to schedules, you will receive your schedule during orientation. * After your initial first week, you will receive 2 to 3 weeks of schedules. * Employee schedules are provided 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
