Description: We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician in the South Bend, IN., area to join our best-of-the-best team as we drive the industry forward and pursue excellence in everything we do. If you're up for the challenge, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities The service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems and their components to ensure proper functionality. Service and troubleshoot systems to diagnose problems and identify solutions. Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system. Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner. Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications:* Troubleshoot Fire Alarm systems to repair ground faults, open circuits and short circuits and addressable and conventional systems. Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. Experience with electronic testing devices. Able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications. Valid driver's license NICET II, III, or IIII Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage or Security experience. Fire Alarm Manufacturer certifications. Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Basic understanding of IT functionality * Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
