We offer a flexible hybrid schedule that combines work-life balance with team collaboration. You'll be in the office Tuesday through Thursday to engage with colleagues and support our business lines, with the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays

Essential Job Duties
-
- Perform the daily function of payables including analyzing all documentation for accuracy of invoicing and payment.
- Sort/distribute/mail/email invoices and checks.
- Run daily and weekly checks and void checks on a rotating schedule with other members of the AP Team.
- Input and match vendor invoices to purchase orders and resolve purchase order, contract, invoice receiving issues or discrepancies and ensure documentation is appropriate and sufficient.
- Analyze all non-PO backed invoices, process and disburse appropriately.
- Process employee expense requests and perform and follow established procedures to reduce ACH and check fraud.
- Maintain both physical and electronic files for archiving, reference, and storage.
- Actively and openly communicate and interact with all members of the Accounts Payable Team, share knowledge, and participate in training and meetings.
- Identify problems and work with appropriate Port employee or vendor to resolve.
- Write/update Accounts Payable policies & procedures as requested or needed.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree.
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, accounting, data processing, OR;
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties.
Demonstrated Skills & Abilities (Senior Level)
- Understanding of PO backed receiving and matching, Procurement cards, payment documentation matching, checks, VPC and ACH payment methods, W9 and 1099 process.
- Understanding of vendor setup, contracts, and procurement and accounting.
- PC proficiency, data entry skills and math skills.
- Use research and analytical techniques to resolve vendor discrepancies while developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Compensation Our organization adheres to established salary ranges for each position to ensure equitable pay practices. However, final offers are determined based on various factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and considerations of internal pay equity.
SELECTION PROCESS (tentative schedule):
- A minimum qualification evaluation of education, training, and experience of submitted application packets will take place by Human Resources the week of November 26, 2024.
- A Subject Matter Expert (SME) Panel will perform an evaluation of experience and training taken from your employment application materials.
- Our goal is to schedule virtual first round of interviews with candidates who successfully passed the SME evaluation as soon as possible.
