Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (Therapists)- for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Inpatient Program. Spring Mountain is now offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for Full-Time Therapists!

The Intensive Inpatient/Outpatient Program Therapist assists in the bio-psychosocial assessment, case management and treatment of patients under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Services. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living and communication with referral sources and families, works closely with marketing and AR to communicate referral sources and hospital discharge planner.

Therapist develops, organizes and implements clinical and program activities; directs the implementation and ensures compliance with JCAHO and other related agencies and standards which promote optimum health care delivery. The Therapist is responsible for participating in performance improvement activities, addressing deficits, identifying new problem areas and developing plans of action.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Therapist).

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health counseling.
  • Current license from the State of Nevada, LMSW required.
  • Must have minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric setting.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of psychiatric treatment, standards and requirements of all hospital agencies.
  • Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations, and Policy & Procedures.
  • Knowledge of group therapy theory and practice, group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age specific growth and development, addictions issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management and aggressive behaviors and CPR training.
