Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years.

Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I-65 at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over 130 high quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying. Our nurses, mental health assistants, psychiatrist, and therapist serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually, with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in children and adolescents.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides prescribed medical treatment for students/residents by performing the following duties and furthermore ensure compliance with governmental requirements, organizational systems, licensing regulations, policies and procedures, CARF standards, HIPPA policies, and operating requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides physical care and carries out therapeutic and medical regimes. Evaluates and documents outcomes.
  • Provides timely and accurate documentation of all relevant medical and psychiatric information which includes, but is not limited to, treatment plans, medication changes, monthly medication counts, and transcription of physician orders
  • Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure communication of residents' behavioral, emotional, and medical needs.
  • Obtains resident histories and medical information which includes, but is not limited to medication consents, vital signs, release of information forms, and insurance information.
  • Observe residents for physical, emotional, and behavioral changes and/or irregularities. Documents and reports observations to appropriate parties.

Pay: $40.00 Hourly

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a school with a degree of Registered Nursing who has passed the state board examination and licensed by the Tennessee Board of Nursing to administer care, working under direction of a licensed physician.
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid State Nursing License
  • Prefer two years of experience in nursing and experience in a residential or school setting serving children.
