Working under the general direction of the Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO) for Art and History of Art OR under the general direction of the Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO) for Comparative Literature & Languages and Hispanic Studies, provides professional support in the areas of financial/budget analysis, fiscal management, contracts and grants, and administrative matters for the Art and History of Art departments or the Department of Comparative Literature & Languages and Hispanic Studies. Monitors and reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual financial transaction detail ledgers. Administers and coordinates all fiscal activities of departmental budgets, including financial activity, trend analysis, budget projection reports, fiscal integrity, and control. Review departmental Review ensuring cost is within budget, appropriate, sufficient funds are in place, and the account is accurate. Prepares complex budget reports and analyses for FAO, departmental chairs, and/or faculty and has collaborative role in the year end fiscal close process. Provides guidance to faculty regarding policies, procedures, contracts and grants, and monthly financial reports. Assists with the allocation and management of financial commitments to graduate students, readers, and other academic student employees. Provides payroll guidance and functions as the HR/AP Payroll Coordinator for all faculty, adjunct, staff and student appointments. Ensures compliance with internal audit requirements and University policies for all financial activities.
This recruitment will be used to fill 2 openings, one in the Department of Art and Art History and one in the Department of Comparative Literature & Languages and Hispanic Studies. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule. Schedule may change depending on department needs and college/university policies. The full salary range for the Financial Analyst II is $29.21 - $51.15 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $40.18 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
