JOB SUMMARY

Works under general supervision to focus on data integrity (including pricing and vendor updates). Responsible for recognizing gaps in the Item Master and other ERP systems including, but not limited to PeopleSoft 9.2, GHX and a Recall Management software along with providing insights to these discrepancies to the SC Analyst II and Supply Chain Analyst Sr. Supports vendor maintenance, Service Now and other technologies as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Healthcare, Statistics, Business, Supply Chain Management or closely related field. or

    Associate's Degree or

    High School Diploma Or equivalent
  • Experience

  • No experience required with Bachelor's Degree or

    2 years of related experience with Associate's Degree or

    4 years of related experience with High School Diploma/equivalent and
Preferred
  • Experience

  • Six months data management/entry work preferably in a clinical or healthcare-related field. and

    Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Outlook. and

    Experience with PeopleSoft, a Recall Management software, a GPO software, and/or GHX

JOB DUTIES
  • Support the Supply Chain areas of Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Contracts Management, Purchasing, Materials Management Operations and Asset Management. This position reports directly to the Manager, SC Systems & Analytics.
  • Assist in the management of the item master database. Evaluate requests for new items, apply accurate and timely updates.
  • Identify, investigate and respond to issues within the item master database. Perform root cause analysis, and develop solutions to improve data quality.
  • Monitor exception reporting and notify stakeholders of updates. Work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, and Purchasing teams to proactively apply price updates and maintain current pricing.
  • Assist in providing data needed for negotiations, including price changes, usage and off contract spend.
  • Assist other Analysts with data needs and project coordination.
  • Work with the Supply Chain Systems and Analytics organization as a first level resource for data integrity issues.
  • Support various technical solutions for Supply Chain such as PeopleSoft, GHX, a Recall Management software, departmental Intranet site, etc.
  • Compile, code, categorize, calculate, and audit large data sets related to supply chain operations.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and training guides.
  • Perform periodic user testing, data audits; provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
