Job Description

Inspire - Manager in Training

What You Will Be Doing:

  • 18-month leadership develop program, holding either a Supervisory or Assistant Manager level position

  • Learn the fundamentals of the hotel's operations while building your own expertise

  • Active shift management, assist to drive the service vision and build guest loyalty

  • Assist management in creating revenue driving ideas and opportunities to engage and innovate with both the local market and in-house Hotel guests.

  • Oversee day to day operation of F&B areas in collaboration with other managers

  • Assist in ensuringthat all colleagues are trained and held accountable for brand standards

  • Assist with ordering, inventory, supplies, maintenance, department scheduling

  • Review daily reports (Arrival, VIP, Group Resumes, etc.) and communicates all special requirements and monitor execution.

  • Conduct daily shift briefings to ensure colleagues are well informed and prepared to deliver outstanding service

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, and hold other accountable as well

  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for both colleagues and guests

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Your Skills and Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 1-year cumulative experience in hospitality management, or a customer-service oriented position

  • Post-secondary education (ie. Diploma, Bachelors or Masters degree), preferably in Hospitality or Business

  • Agile and flexible in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Desire to advance your hospitality career, hands-on management style

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication abilities

  • Must be available to work various shift times, including weekends and holidays


Additional Information

Physical Aspects of the Position (include but not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs

  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps

Visa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
