Post-Doctoral Fellow, Hydrologic Science Posting Number: JR105704 Location: Colorado Engineering a world of possibilities The Colorado School of Mines Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow position in hydrologic science. This position will lead work on a high-profile NOAA funded project to advance disturbance models and parameterizations within the National Water Model. Responsibilities primarily include 1) developing and conducting independent research related to watershed and hydrologic disturbances, and 2) assisting in managing a research group of graduate students. Candidates should have strong expertise in machine learning, spatial data analysis, remote sensing, hydrologic and/or operational modeling. Funding is available for one year, with the possibility of extension if additional research funding is secured. The position will be located in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
