We're looking for an Account Manager to join the National Sales team with MH Higher Education.

How can you make an impact?

The Account Manager is responsible for educating customers on print and digital products in one of McGraw Hill Higher Education businesses which include SEM, B&E and HSSL. We are looking for an organized, customer-oriented professional that is driven by sales goals and contributing to team success. In this role, you will interact with marketing and product teams to strategize on moving business forward.

You will be reporting to a District Sales Manager on our National Sales team and working within a collaborative team environment with shared goals. Candidates within driving distance of our Dubuque, Iowa office are preferred. Travel is required 3-4 times per year for team events and candidates must reside within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Grow business by closing a high percentage of qualified leads and maximizing sales by positioning digital, custom solutions, and Inclusive Access.
  • Effectively conduct sales presentations to individual choice and large committees via on-line demonstration tools or site visits.
  • Coordinate the assistance of internal specialists on targeted opportunities to move the adoption forward to close the business.
  • Collaborate with college bookstores and develop relationships to forward Enterprise opportunities.
  • Develop and execute implementation plans for digital required customers through collaboration with Implementation consultants.
  • Update SFDC via account planning and daily updating to ensure pipeline reports are accurate.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree required and sales experience required.
  • Proven high-achiever with track record of success.
  • Abilty to collaborate in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • A competitive spirit and a passion to succeed.
  • High level of digital aptitude and solve problems independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% during peak periods.

The pay range for this position is between $40,000 - 55,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual sales incentive plan is included as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
