Insurance Verification Specialist - Surgical Center Fredericksburg, VA Pay From: $19 Per Hour MUST: 4+years of experience in the medical field Experience working for a surgical or specialty practice Experience obtaining a high volume of insurance verifications Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare and commercial side payors Comfortable verifying insurance all day Ability to determine co-pays and review financial obligation with patients Must have strong EMR Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction well Must have great customer service skills and a positive attitude DUTIES: The duties of the Insurance Verification Specialist include but are not limited to the following Verify insurance Follow up with Medicaid, Medicare and commercial payors Pre-Authorize procedures and surgeries Review benefits with patients and calculate co-pays Scan medical records into EMR Provide assistance to the office as needed Work with a variety of physicians and physician practices Enter patient information into EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
