The Mobile Networks Space and Defense organization is growing to meet Mobile Networks ambition toward the Defense sector. In support of this strategy, we need an Operations leader who has the experience and capability to create and lead and facilitate the hiring execution plan. Such activity requires close collaboration with BU level O&T functions and leaders, as well as hiring managers around the global organization.

This role will also facilitate consolidation of non-headcount OPEX information (Material and Subcons) and collaboration/sharing this information with Space & Defense LT and F&C team members as required.

In addition to the primary role leading Operations functions, this role also requires some part-time engagement and support of Program Management functions, either for hardware development programs or customer-facing demonstration and/or prototyping projects.

As part of the team, you will:



  • Collaborate with BU O&T and S&D Team Managers globally to develop and execute a hiring plan in support of business objectives and approved budget.
  • Prepare staffing Actual and Forecast views in support of capacity calculations for Release Planning workflows.
  • Consolidate and analyze OPEX spending views (including headcount, material, and subcons) for review with S&D Leadership and F&C.
  • Support global CAPEX planning and execution functions with escalation and/or mitigations for overspend or underspend.
  • As needed, support Program Management functions on Hardware Development programs involving Supply Chain and Operations.
  • As needed, lead smaller programs involving prototyping and/or demonstration projects for US customers.


You have:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business disciplines or equivalent experience
  • 10 years' experience in an Operations role for a large, global organization. Experience in such role inside Mobile Networks is greatly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience required.
