DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Liquor Store General Manager 3C, you will supervise, manage, and direct activities in a state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. Within this role, you will implement and apply policy and procedure to store operations, assign and evaluate work, and promote excellent customer relations. General Managers are accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records, and all related functions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday.
- Work hours will vary. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours/biweekly.
- Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees may be negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B; or
- Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A; or
- Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B; or
- Four years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A; or
- Seven years of supervisory retail sales work.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
