DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a County Casework Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of supports coordination services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. Supports coordination is a series of service functions involving the location, coordination, and monitoring of services to assist persons with intellectual disabilities to achieve greater independence, choice, and opportunity in their lives. This professional provides direct supervision and training to the supports coordinators located at the CMSU Developmental Services office. We are looking for someone with a collaborate mind set and excellent interpersonal skills to lead and interact with staff, clients, and all other involved parties. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Excellent benefits package and options for tuition reimbursement for eligible candidates.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
