Job Description:

Working closely with leaders, provide guidance on a broad range of employee relations matters to ensure fairness and legal compliance. This includes documentation, analysis and developing resolutions in an end-to-end process. Assist with Employee Relations administration involving data analysis, system documentation and maintenance.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Workplace Investigations and Leader Coaching
    • Investigate concerns brought to Employee Relations through one of multiple ways - integrity line, ticket process or directly from a leader
    • Coach leaders and employees on performance and behavior related matters in accordance with company policies, practices and collective bargaining agreements
    • Guide leaders through progressive discipline process, reviewing documentation before it is delivered to ensure consistency
    • Oversee case volumes and record case notes within multiple HRIS systems
  • Partnership within Human Resources and Centers of Excellence (COE)
    • Build strong relationships with Labor Relations, Legal and Human Resources Business Partners
    • Participate in projects and cross-team initiatives as requested
  • Employee Relations Administration
    • Support the management of Employee Relations systems, such as ServiceNow, LaborSoft and various platforms used for unemployment, compliance and other related functions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources, preferably in healthcare and/or a union environment. Experience working with Service Now, LaborSoft and ADP systems preferred
