POSITION Allspring Global Investments is looking for an Operations Accounting Manager to oversee a team of portfolio accountants responsible for reconciliation, portfolio accounting and portfolio performance. The Portfolio Accounting team maintains critical portfolio data required by investment teams, investment analytics, pre-trade compliance, composites and client reporting. In this role, you will lead a team of portfolio accountants to meet standards of excellence with assigned responsibilities as well as support for internal teams and ongoing enhancements to controls. Manager should have a minimum of 7 years of experience managing investment operations teams, preferably in portfolio and/or fund accounting functions and a track record of increasing responsibility. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a team of portfolio analysts responsible for daily reconciliation, portfolio accounting and performance review functions. Support staff with training, coaching and skills development. Lead the team to strive for service excellence, continual improvement and a team approach. Escalate issues with custodians and other parties to resolve discrepancies timely. Liaise with other operations and technology teams to address solutions for new products or client requirements. Identify opportunities to reduce risk, increase efficiencies and collaborate with others to make meaningful positive change. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
