The Director of Operations is responsible for the operational performance of multiple clinic locations. Provides management and oversight functions for assigned clinics; collaborating with the Regional Vice President of Clinic Operations, physician leaders, physicians/providers and management team to ensure high quality patient care. Advises and seeks consent from the organizations leadership team to coordinate and manage the activities for assigned clinic.

UnityPoint Clinic Cedar Rapids is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team. As Director of Clinic Operations, this leader will partner with physician leaders in a dyad relationship to:

• Guide Clinic Administrators and Site Leads in the optimization of clinic operations and performance for assigned specialty areas including: Pediatrics, Perinatology, and Urgent Care.
• Collaborate within the regional Clinic leadership team to develop strategy and execute on initiatives.
• Facilitate the provider recruitment process for assigned areas including perform analysis to determine need and oversee the selection process.
• Demonstrate sound fiscal management of clinic operations through budget planning and performance. Assure optimal use of regional resources to meet objectives.
• Mentor and develop new and current clinic leaders.

Education/Experience

• Master's degree with 5+ years of physician practice management experience desired.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of physician practice management experience required.
• Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) is a plus.
