The James Oncology Rehabilitation Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Team Lead oversees the James Oncology Acute Care and Outpatient EBP programs, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, and speech and language pathology within OSUWMC James Oncology Rehab. The EBP Team Lead will work across the continuum of care between acute care and outpatient services within Ohio State Universitys Wexner Medical Center James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. The EBP Lead is responsible for promoting evidence based practice and quality clinical care in James Oncology Rehabilitation. The Oncology Rehab Services Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Team Lead will report directly to the Associate Director of James Oncology Rehabilitation Services with guidance from the Rehab Services Administrator, Directors, and Associate Directors. The EBP Lead is responsible for promoting utilization of evidence based practice across James Oncology Rehabilitation teams/units. Along with other members of the EBP and Oncology Rehab leadership team, the individual will coordinate communication within and between business units; will ensure appropriate education and counseling regarding evidence based practice; and will oversee and/or develop processes and programs leading to best practices within the profession(s). This position will work closely with the UH Acute Rehab EBP and James and UH QA teams, as well as department leadership, to develop processes, programs, and staff education to meet departmental evidence based practice and clinical quality of care goals. The EBP Team Lead will maintain clinical care responsibilities in order to remain connected to the needs and impact of programs and guidance brought forth by the EBP team. Minimum Qualifications Preferred: Experience in supervisory role or in program management. Background in health professional education, quality improvement initiatives, or promotion of evidence based practice. Experience with interdepartmental and/or interdisciplinary communication and coordination. |
