Description: Location: Westlake Village Job Summary: The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including supplier commodity management, service level agreements (SLAs), source selection, contract negotiations, and implementation. This role involves developing and implementing policies and processes for contract formation, negotiation, and administration to meet customer expectations and corporate strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead projects to improve operational processes and ensure effective contract execution and data capture. - Negotiate terms for smaller contracts. - Handle assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make decisions. - Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on business matters. - Participate in negotiating teams to complete moderately complex contracts. - Manage multiple contracts and projects with varying deadlines. - Perform other related duties as required and assigned. - Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's desired culture and values. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of relevant work experience. - Paralegal certification or other legal qualifications, contracts, or equivalent work experience is highly desired. - Certified Purchasing Manager or related certification is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
