About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management Analyst at to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking, compliance, and optimization of laptops in the environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with asset management systems, and a solid understanding of inventory management best practices. Key Responsibilities: * Asset Tracking & Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets. Track the lifecycle of assets from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring proper documentation and updates in the asset management system. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate updates to asset records. * Procurement & Deployment: Support the procurement process by reviewing asset requirements, assisting with purchase orders, and ensuring that assets are acquired according to needs. * Asset Auditing & Compliance: Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of IT assets to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. * Data Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on asset status, usage, lifecycle, and disposal for management review. Analyze asset utilization and recommend improvements for cost optimization, asset consolidation, or end-of-life planning. * Security & Disposal: Ensure that all IT assets are properly secured and decommissioned for data protection and disposal, including the wiping of data from devices. Work closely with the security team to ensure that all assets meet organizational security standards. * Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with various departments (IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal) to ensure seamless asset management and resolve any asset-related issues. Provide guidance and training to staff on asset management best practices. * Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes for asset and inventory management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Required Qualifications: * Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, or a related field. Familiarity with asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Lansweeper, or similar tools). * Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and reporting skills. Knowledge of IT hardware models. Understanding of IT lifecycle management and industry best practices. Familiarity with compliance, IT security protocols, and data protection regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
