In this role, you are responsible for the overall administration of programs as well as enhancements, process improvements and efficiencies and for ensuring that programs meet the evolving needs of the organization. Essential Job Duties

- Develop and implement organization-wide recruitment strategies to attract and acquire talent from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
- Manage the identification, recommendation, design, and implementation of innovative and proactive talent acquisition sourcing strategies to meet business recruitment goals.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract diverse and high-quality candidates, including but not limited to job fairs, job boards, social media campaigns, and networking events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide strategic direction and counsel regarding recruiting trends, concerns, and possibilities for opportunistic hiring, to ensure a positive client experience.
- Work closely with Port stakeholders to review and align talent acquisition processes and practices to support the organization's ability to attract diverse applicants.
- Track, analyze and report on applicant and hiring metrics (application counts, time-to hire, cost-per-hire, etc.).
- Serve as the talent acquisition partner on various Port recruitments.
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the Port's Internship Program.
- Manage and coach the talent acquisition team to ensure achievement of hiring targets and delivery of a solid candidate experience while fostering a culture of inclusivity and belonging. Establish and communicate work priorities and delegate work assignments.
- Manage the RFP vendor selection process for retained search and staffing firms, background check services, and other recruitment-related vendors.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible professional level experience in a talent acquisition role.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in the supervision of employees OR;
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties.
- SPHR or PHR preferred.
Demonstrated Skills & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state employment laws, talent acquisition and sourcing practices, and all aspects of employment offers.
- Senior level knowledge of social media platforms, enterprise personnel and SaaS systems.
- Manage and coach performance of direct reports.
- Compensation and benefit programs along with collective bargaining agreements.
Security
Employees in this position may be required to successfully pass and maintain security clearance relevant to assigned duties such as SIDA (Security Identification Display Area), TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential), CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Systems), etc.

Compensation Our organization adheres to established salary ranges for each position to ensure equitable pay practices. However, final offers are determined based on various factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and considerations of internal pay equity. SELECTION PROCESS (tentative schedule):
- A minimum qualification evaluation of education, training, and experience of submitted application packets will take place by Human Resources the week of December 2, 2024.
- A Subject Matter Expert (SME) Panel will perform an evaluation of experience and training taken from your employment application materials.
- Our goal is to schedule virtual first round of interviews with candidates who successfully passed the SME evaluation as soon as possible.
