This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office and two days working remotely. The position is based at our Corporate Office located at 233 S. Wacker Drive, Suite 8400, Chicago, IL 60606.


Responsibilities

The Senior IT Systems Analyst is an individual contributor who leads all phases of IT system
implementation projects and manages escalated support needs. This role collaborates closely
with the IT team and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, document
system designs and configure systems to meet evolving business needs.

In addition to managing implementation, the Senior IT Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining test scripts, training users, and providing comprehensive support to ensure efficient, effective system utilization across the organization. This role knows and uses a wide range of technologies such as Microsoft 365, ADP Vantage, Oracle JD Edwards, Hyland OnBase, SAP Concur, MatrixCare, SharePoint, Salesforce, Enquire CRM, Touchtown, and basic networking.
The Senior IT Systems Analyst also supports strategic initiatives by implementing process improvements, optimizing systems, and mentoring junior team members. Through troubleshooting complex issues, testing new solutions, and driving continuous enhancements, this position plays a key role in advancing IT operations and contributing to organizational growth.

Business Analysis
* Facilitates and documents the requirements, design, configuration, testing, training,
implementation, and support activities for various system solutions.
* Works directly with end-users and other system stakeholders to capture a strong
understanding of business processes and associated system requirements.
* Facilitates process analysis and design workshops.
* Fosters and shares an up-to-date understanding of relevant technology product
roadmaps and functionality associated with new releases.

Project Management
* Creates and manages small-to-medium sized project plans for various types of business
and software projects.
* Manages project teams including Subject Matter Expects (SMEs), end-users, and
consultants.
* Responsible for delivery of multiple project types, including integrations, software and
hardware implementations, upgrades, and smaller development work.

Application Support
* Creates and maintains design specifications and test scripts.
* Performs configuration, testing, and training.
* Troubleshoots issues related to business systems.
* Coordinates with IT operations and support to ensure Service Level Agreements
(SLAs) are met and users are getting proper remediation.
* Documents issue resolutions in our knowledge base.
* Assists with system access and security maintenance for active users.
* Assists with training content creation and publishing and/or presenting.

* Travel up to 20% as IT system projects demand.


Qualifications

  • Proactive self-starter with a strong drive to advance projects and initiatives while delivering consistent quality.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to evaluate projects, break down work into manageable tasks, and effectively plan their work.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation using Microsoft 365 and Office products, specifically Visio, Project/Planner, and Excel, as well as other related products such as Miro and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to develop functional and technical specifications and test scripts based on end-user requirements.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of system development lifecycle stages (requirements, design, build, test, deploy) and methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum, SAFe).
  • Knowledge of general product and user experience (UX) best practices and can suggest usage patterns and features for end users.
  • Competent knowledge of general software development best processes and can assess a system or vendor for competency.
  • Ability to identify, assess, troubleshoot, and improve/optimize processes, and can present process improvement suggestions in an easily-adoptable way.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and present to end-users at all levels in the organization, including executives. Inclusive of verbal and written communication skills with a focus on presenting technical information in a simple and easy to understand manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to lead project teams of internal and external resources as well as work collaboratively as part of a team and department.

Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field is required.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working as an IT business analyst
or similar position required. IT consulting experience is a plus.
Licensure/Certification CBAP, PMP, CSM, or other related certifications are a plus.


Pay Range

USD $95,433.00 - USD $124,070.00 /Yr.
