A postdoctoral associate position in ultrafast multidimensional spectroscopy is available in the Anna group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. The candidate is expected to have experience in multidimensional spectroscopy and will perform research to investigate charge and electron transfer. The candidate will help to design and construct multidimensional spectrometers in the visible and mid-IR spectral regions and will contribute to mentoring and training graduate students. The candidate is also expected to mentor and train graduate students and participate in scientific meetings to communicate the group's science with others.

Job Qualifications:

  • PhD in physical chemistry
  • Strong background in ultrafast multidimensional spectroscopy
  • Ability and interest to serve as a mentor to graduate and undergraduate researchers.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to write peer-reviewed journal articles and create and give oral presentations at scientific conferences.
