The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architecting and implementing solutions using Adobe Experience Cloud products, and integrating with enterprise systems for a thriving healthcare organization. This candidate should also have excellent communication skills and be a team leader that can speak to and represent the technical capabilities and solution designs of the platform. Purpose The AEM Architect will help guide the technical vision of Dell Medical School's Digital Engagement Platform which utilizes Adobe Experience Cloud. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership, and a strategic mindset to deliver secure, scalable, and future-proof digital experiences. As the AEM/AEP subject matter expert, you will be responsible for helping translate high-level business requirements into robust solutions, big-picture strategies, and technical roadmaps for the platform. Relevant experience typically exhibited by a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3 years of extensive experience with architecting solutions using Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform products. Significant experience developing components, templates, automated workflows, headless applications, and integrations using Java, HTL, CSS, JavaScript, JCR, Apache Sling Framework, ClientLibs, OSGi and CRXDE Lite. Experience implementing, integrating and developing for the following Adobe Experience Manager and Platform products: AEM sites, Assets, Adobe Target, AEM Forms, Real-time CDP and Customer Journey Analytics. Technical proficiency in architecture, configuration, DevOps, performance optimization, sizing for enterprise applications, CDN, disaster recovery and caching. Experience utilizing AEM/AEP APIs. Experience with current development standards and tools, including version control, automated testing, debugging, issue tracking, documentation, code reviews, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and containers. Knowledge of how to properly handle sensitive data, such as Protected Health Information (PHI), and adhere to HIPAA, FERPA, Common Rule, and other regulations. Knowledge of security standards and best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsAt least 10 years of development experience with at least 5 years of Experience with AEM As a Cloud Service or AEM version 6.x or higher. Experience in medical education, higher education, health care or a related field. Expertise in AEM capabilities including Multi-site manager and blueprinting. Experience with deploying AEM for a large enterprise. Adobe Experience Manager Developer or Architect Certifications. Omnichannel marketing experience and analytics measurement/reporting. Certification in Agile, PMP, or both. Demonstrated experience interacting with university administrators, deans, faculty and staff in providing good client and customer service.
