Location: 9201 Oak Hill Road, Evansville, Indiana - 47725 Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager identifies, creates, implements, and executes sales initiatives within the assigned market that will enhance the development and performance of Sales Representatives to exceed performance expectations. Responsibilities:
On a monthly basis, reviews and maintains Sales Representatives performance reports and results to established metrics. Identifies areas of opportunity (including but not limited to process improvements, tools & resources) and recommends action plans accordingly. In conjunction with the Division General Manager and Regional Manager, develops, implements, and executes action plans to achieve desired results. Conducts "ride-alongs" with field Sales Representative and evaluates performance. Provides feedback for development opportunities to Sales Representative and Regional Managers. Positively impacts the performance of sales team members by implementing and managing field support tools, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication tools. Identifies and prioritizes additional training needs in the organization and makes recommendations based on results of analysis. Conducts customer visits to assess the effectiveness of training and reinforces key learning's from training. Recruits, hires, and develops associates, utilizing company support resources. Other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Minimum 3 years' experience as a sales representative. Ability to work independently as well as in conjunction with various levels of management. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills. Working knowledge of selling principals and concepts. Strong planning, time management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint. Must be willing to travel within the region up to 60% of time. Must have a valid driver's license and "satisfactory" driving record according to the company's insurance carrier.
Preferred:
Industry field sales experience, sales management or sales training experience. Prior instructional design experience. Working knowledge of web conference tools. Sales training certification.
