Responsibilities How You Can Make a Real Impact: The Speech Therapist provides direct, consultative, and supportive diagnostic and therapeutic services for communication and oral motor disorders to students, faculty, and staff members to enhance the students' potential for learning and assist students in the acquisition of functional performance skills needed to access, participate in, and benefit from, the educational environment.
Conducts diagnostic assessments of the need for communication and oral motor skills for individual students, as needed or as assigned, to provide a comprehensive student profile:
Qualifications Education & Experience: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology to include a National Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
