Job Summary

Leads strategic planning initiatives and is responsible for the overall communications and universal technical assistance of the Delivering Resources, Education, and Access to MSIs (DREAM) Center which aims to responds to a critical need to (a) improve the capacity of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), tribally controlled colleges and universities (TCCUs), and other minority-serving institutions (MSIs). This position will plan and direct the administrative and operational activities of DREAM Center technical assistance. Provides recommendations on DREAM Center goals and propose new initiatives.

  • Plans and directs the administrative and operational activities of DREAM Center technical assistance. Manages the programs that are run through the center. Creates and implements technical assistance programs to service faculty at institutions around the country. Implements cohorts in their training programs that includes leading webinar sessions, virtual communications, and ongoing support for the cohorts.
  • Advises and makes recommendations on DREAM Center goals, internal, and external trends.
  • Proposes plans and develops new initiatives.
  • Develops and implements the technical assistance plan for the Center.
  • Implements appropriate procedures to ensure project efficiency and accuracy to fulfill the DREAM Center's mission.
  • Develops and implements the strategic vision and plan for the Center.
  • Serves as the liaison to establish communication with technical assistance center participants and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Directs Center activities to ensure compliance with University and United States Department of Education policies, procedures, and required standards.
  • Manages program change in accordance with the project change management plan.
  • Holds program staff accountable for high performance and high engagement culture by articulating expectations, monitoring performance, and providing consistent feedback across areas of responsibility.
  • Oversee the creation of the content for the Center website and ensure content is up to date and compliant.
  • Supervise assigned staff and doctoral interns.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field and six (6) years of related work experience or Master's degree in business, education, or related field and four (4) years of related work experience.
