Job Summary

As the Director of Strategic Input, you will play a pivotal role in guiding AlticeUSA's program/ project selection. Your primary focus will be on prioritizing projects to ensure alignment with the company's strategic imperatives and outsized customer benefit. You will spearhead the identification, tracking, and assessment of strategic fit, ensuring that each project contributes effectively to the company's financial objectives, operational success and enhances customer value.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Portfolio Management: Partner with the VP of Experience Assurance and Strategic Intake to develop and execute a comprehensive project portfolio management strategy that aligns with the company's long-term corporate objectives and vision.
  • Project Intake and Prioritization: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the executive leadership team, product owners, and department heads, to intake, assess, and prioritize projects based on their potential impact on corporate objectives and customer benefit. Determine whether or not projects proceed based on ability to fulfill the business objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance and effectiveness of projects, ensuring they remain in line with strategic objectives and customer-centric outcomes.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with department leaders to allocate resources efficiently across projects to maximize return on investment and customer satisfaction.
  • Center of Excellence: Contribute to the Altice SPO Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Project Portfolio Management function, refining processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery and benefit realization.
  • Communication: Regularly disseminate relevant insights to executive leadership, enabling informed decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement in the project selection process and managing their expectations regarding project outcomes.
  • Leadership: Mentor and coach leaders and teams to improve strategic definition while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in project portfolio management, with a track record of successful project prioritization and benefit realization
  • Strategic contextual thinker
  • Financial and data analysis experience with strong understanding of ROI models and experience tracking business case attainment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills on high impact projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resiliency to adapt to a competitive environment
  • Self-starter / self-directed
  • Strong critical problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Professional certification in portfolio management is a plus
  • Previous experience in telecommunications/broadband industry is a plus.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00-$201,960.00/year.
