JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION In keeping with the Mission/Vision/Values of Centerstone, the Human Resources Business Partner provides, promotes and assists with human resource/administrative services, processes, and systems in support of Centerstone workforce and operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes job requirements with independent action and resourcefulness and seeks out additional duties during periods of downtime.
- Organizes time, effort, and use of resources to achieve desired outcomes.

- This also includes consistently returning phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours and updating voicemail/out of office e-mail, as well as consistently using pleasant tone and having a helpful attitude.
- Provide and assist HR team with hiring, recruiting and retention processes and logistics. Advertise (back-up) track, screen, review and process applicants and new hires.
- Coordinate onboarding process. Meet with new hires to provide training and information on HR systems/processes, complete paperwork, obtain background check information, initiate screenings (drug/TB testing, TDAP, Hep B, etc.) and track and file.
- Provide HR new employee orientation. Assist with agency orientation scheduling.
- Track, schedule, and complete all Corporation and funding source background checks and maintain background checks as required.
- Manage assigned HR file/documentation systems including opening and closing files and maintaining filing.
- Track and assure new hire paperwork is completed and filed. Assist HR team with benefits enrollment.
- Provide/assist with related paperwork including COBRA, insurance/benefits, leave paperwork and tracking. Assist with managing and maintaining agency job descriptions, job ratings and wage scales.
- Conduct related surveys and analyses; respond to survey information requests and provide related reports.
- Assist, facilitate, and provide communications regarding human resources issues.
- Initiate employment letters/documentation as assigned.
- Provide consultation, information, training and education to staff regarding human resources issues, policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and distribute HR questions and faxes as assigned. Assists and/or coordinates employee investigations as needed and assigned.
- Promote standardization, provide training and consultation, and assure timely submission of performance appraisals. Revise appraisals/evaluation tools as needed.
- Coordinate administration of Corporation's on-line training system.
- Provide Corporation response to unemployment or workers compensation claims and other claims and/or charges as assigned. Assist/provide/recommend safety, welfare and health systems as needed.
- Maintain human resources records and systems in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and standards. Conduct exit interviews; prepare and present turnover tracking reports as needed. Attend staff meetings.
- Participate in agency meetings as needed and requested. Work as an effective Human Resources and Corporation Team Member.

QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Position requires a Bachelor's degree in human resource related field Years of Experience Minimum one year work experience strongly preferred. Certification/Licensure Professional Human Resources certification preferred.
