Job Description

The Plastic Surgery and Med Spa Clinic of the University of Missouri is seeking an experienced and talented Medical Esthetician to join our team. As a Medical Esthetician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer care in all aspects of the Med Spa to ensure clients receive a memorable and satisfying experience.

Responsibilities:

Welcome clients in a warm, pleasant manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms. Advise clients and suggest treatment options related to products, and procedures.

  • Perform in-office procedures for clients including consults for aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to, facials, chemical peels, skin resurfacing, dermaplaning, treating acne, sun damage, wrinkles, oily or dry skin, and provide regular client follow-ups to the procedures/protocols.
  • Promote, sell, and maintain product inventory of clinic products.
  • Preparing clients for botox injections or dermal fillers and providing them with post-injection care instructions.
    Maintain client charting/documentation.
Shift

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Office/Administrative Hours: No - Position will not have Office/Admin Hours
Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: No

Minimum Qualifications

One year vocational or technical school training, beyond the high school level, in cosmetology or esthetician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired, is necessary. One year experience as an esthetician. State of Missouri Esthetician licensure is required.

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of esthetician experience is preferred

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $22.00-$34.74
Grade: PAT-007
University Title: ESTHETICIAN
