The Sr. Facilities Manager will have absolute ownership over their site and portfolio, the primary location for this role is at our client's global headquarters which features a state of the art lab space. The ideal candidate leverages in depth knowledge of workplace experience / facilities management and strong leadership skills to solve complex problems impacting high level executives with a variety of internal and client stakeholders.
The Sr. Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Account Lead and the Corporate Services team with the delivery of quality facility management services. The role is responsible for managing the assigned sites within the account, owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the requirements of all local, state, and federal requirements. The position will be responsible for all line of business and third-party relationships with the assigned buildings. The position ensures client assets are operated and maintained in a cost effective non-impacted manner while providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment. The Sr. Facilities Manager develops operating and capital budgets, controls costs, and coordinates service provider and staff activities. Leveraging organization skills, problem solving, and creative thinking they resolve escalated issues, drive continuous process improvement and team development in a dynamic environment. The position provides regular performance feedback, development and coaching to direct reports and will have extensive interaction with internal and external customers to ensure seamless delivery of these services while meeting JLL's goal to provide our clients with the highest level of client service available. Relationship Management Partner with and advise client corporate services team and site leadership during day-to-day operations and future strategy planning activities, siezes opportunities to play a role in the execution of the client workplace strategy. Explore growth and improvement opportunities at client's global HQ and assist in global implementation of proven and client aligned initiatives. Understand and execute with ease any situations requiring additional internal assets or programs needed to leverage the JLL platform to improve and refine client offerings. Operations Provide overall facility services in accordance with client's standard processes and procedures, including application of policies, programs, initiatives and coordination of information. Monitor overall workflow to assure timely completion within established SLA's. Provide feedback to subordinates on workflow compliance. Meet or exceed client KPIs and customer satisfaction ratings. Work closely with third party vendors to ensure completion of scheduled PM's. Provide continual feedback and plans of actions to improve on maintenance program. Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Account Lead and the client. Support the Account Lead in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client project. Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis. Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client. Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative Input to and support development of capital planning. Compliance Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information. Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the team. Ensure all facilities are evaluated, comply and pass Management and/or Operations audits. Implement best practices and monitor their effectiveness keeping the Client informed of the value-add measures being implemented. People Management Responsible for operations team management, staff development and planning. Execute staff succession and growth plans. Involved in compensation planning process. For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans; direct report in consistent conversations regarding progress. Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. Education / Training Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis Years of Relevant Experience Minimum of 8 years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant Skills / Knowledge Strong organizational and management Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills Strong presentation skills Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office, and MS Share Point Computer proficiency in CMMS (Corrigo) Supervisory Responsibilities Matrix manage both technical and administrative staff Oversee multiple facilities of different functions Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary Strong organizational and management Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills Strong presentation skills If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements below.
