Clinical Technician 1 - Surgical Telemetry with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

Full-time | Days / | Shift: Days Vary, 6AM - 6:30PM

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Surgical Telemetry Unit with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Your shifts will be from 6:00am - 6:30PM / shift with rotating weekends or holidays.

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

  • Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
    • ADLs
    • Blood Draws
    • IV Insertion
    • Catheter / Foley insertion
  • Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,
    • Virtual modules
    • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM
    • On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
  • Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
