OVERVIEW: The Insperity Invitational will be held April 28-May 4, 2025 at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course. The event is managed by Pro Links Sports, a full-service golf management company that runs four events on the PGA TOUR Champions and two on the PGA Tour.
Looking for an energetic team player with strong verbal and written communications skills. Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task.
The position requires the continuous need to read, write and speak English. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking and listening. On occasion, the position incumbent is required to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
Leading up to and during tournament time the position will be expected to work many consecutive days and longer hours as needed to successfully produce the tournament.
START DATE February 1, 2025 (flexible)
END DATE May 16, 2025
HOURS Monday - Friday / Flexible to Full-time hours
Assistant is required to work full time, a minimum of 40 hours per week, during Advance week, the week prior to the tournament and official tournament week. Please note full time hours are minimum. Weekend days and evenings will be required closer to the actual tournament dates. Advance week (the week before tournament week) and official tournament week days are long and will exceed regular office hours. Attendance is required/mandatory.
Office attire is golf casual.
COMPENSATION Weekly stipend and/or course credit
DESCRIPTION
- Assist with Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Pro-Am events.
- Assist with ticket distribution, grassroots marketing, and pre-tournament marketing promotions.
- Assist with tournament week social functions.
- Main contact for PGA TOUR Champions Honorary Observer program.
- Assist Volunteer Coordinator when necessary with uniform distribution, training meetings and post tournament correspondence.
- Miscellaneous projects in connection with the tournament staff and committees for event preparation.
- Actively participate in daily office activities such as answering phones, deliveries, maintaining office organization and cleanliness.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
Canva and WordPress: some knowledge would be helpful but not required
