The Opportunity: The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support within academic or administrative offices. This role involves receiving, screening, and directing incoming calls, visitors, mail, and e-mail, and using business software applications to prepare correspondence. The position requires preparing and maintaining files and records according to established guidelines. Additional responsibilities may include arranging meetings, coordinating travel, and tracking expenses and other budgetary transactions. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working as a receptionist. Customer service experience. Experience with scanning, filing, and sorting of mail. Data Entry Experience. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; ability to train on and learn new computerized systems.
