Responsibilities

Our team is committed to promoting health and wellness through preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinic team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will support family medicine providers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This role involves working closely with patients to assess needs, provide education, administer treatments, and promote overall health. The ideal candidate is a compassionate nurse with experience in a family medicine or primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and documenting patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and other prescribed treatments.
  • Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and wound care as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and managing chronic conditions.
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments as directed.
  • Perform triage duties, responding to patient inquiries and providing guidance on care as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications
  • Current State License to Practice, RN - Iowa.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
  • Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
