Primary Responsibilities |
1. Serve as primary communication link between the undergraduate programs in the School of Nursing and undergraduate nursing students. Respond to general program inquiries, answer
NCLEX and licensure questions, coordinate collection of required paperwork, troubleshoot student issues, and convey processes and requirements to students via Canvas, website, etc.
2. Provide general faculty support, ExamSoft support and zoom meeting coordination for the undergraduate faculty. Also assist with desk copy requests, room scheduling, beginning and end of semester paperwork, and special projects as directed.
3. Provide support to the School of Nursing Director(s), Associate Directors,
BSN, and
ABSN Program Directors. Includes but not limited to preparation of meeting minutes, course scheduling, event preparation, and administrative support.
4. Provide support to the
BSN/
ABSN Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include completion of hospital forms for the submission of student information for badging and
EPIC access, student tracking, collection and tracking of student clinical evaluations & clinical placements.
5. Provide support to the
BSSN/
ABSN Admission, Progression, and Graduation Committee; preparing minutes, progression tracking of all students, and submitting the Certified List of qualified graduates to the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
6. Provide student and faculty support of
HESI test administration.
7. Support School of Nursing leadership with Kentucky Board of Nursing reporting needs such as preparing list of certified graduates, survey data, verification of education forms, etc.
8. Responsible for undergraduate student file maintenance in the School of Nursing
9. Work with School Director(s), Associate Directors, and Program Directors on the coordination and hosting of special events sponsored by the departments including, but not limited to, new student orientation,
BSN/
ABSN Graduation and Recognition (Pinning Ceremony), Summer Nurse Camp, and other special events. |
Qualifications |
1. Working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
2. Detail oriented and highly organized
3. Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize duties
4. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
5. Self - starter with ability to consistently follow through on commitments to their successful completion
6. Represent college in a professional manner at all times (via phone calls, email, in-person, etc.)
7. Maintain confidentiality of student academic and health records. |
