Job Description

We lead every phase of design and construction, from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Whether it is new buildings, renovations, or infrastructure improvements, our expert team collaborates with campus stakeholders to bring visionary designs to life. With a blend of in-house design talent and industry-leading project and construction management, we are committed to building a campus that drives success and enhances the MU experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and reconcile expenses, budgets and contingencies for construction projects in various ranges of construction cost.
  • Ensure all financial data is complete and accurate to meet audit standards.
  • Prepare proper accounting entries to move funds to cover project costs or correct fiscal inaccuracies.
  • Process contractor and consultant payments by reconciling with previous payments, gathering all applicable backup and obtaining the appropriate approvals.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to coordinate and resolve payment concerns.
  • As needed, provide current construction project budget, projections and accounting information to Deans, Directors, Project Managers, department heads and other financial personnel using ad hoc or system reports.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday thru Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $18.50 - $26.34 per hour

Grade: GGS-008
