Staffmark is excited to offer temp-to-hire opportunities for experienced CNC Lathe Machinists in Beavercreek Township, OH. Join a reputable local manufacturing company and take the next step in your career!

Pay: $21 - $24/hr

Shifts Available:



  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM


As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring high-quality products meet customer specifications, and troubleshooting any issues during production. You'll work closely with the team to maintain quality standards, minimize errors, and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:



  • Set up CNC Lathe machines for production runs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize non-conformances
  • Use calipers, mics, and indicators to ensure machines and fixtures are properly set
  • Perform tool offsets using basic math skills
  • Review CMM reports to verify product quality and compliance with specifications
  • Dress and set tools for CNC machines
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously
  • Perform daily 5S (cleaning) and machine inspections
  • Ensure coolant levels are adequate and report maintenance issues


Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in a machinist-level role
  • Strong skills in loading parts, using inspection equipment, and tool loading
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality, mechanical inspection tools, and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to perform decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in a production setting
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Passionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-quality results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
