What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct research in problems that arise in 3D heterogenous integration such as power distribution, signal integrity, thermal, yield to name a few. Based on candidates background, we can explore advanced topics.

What You'll Need:

  • Background in Electrical Engineering, good understanding of system tradeoffs made in VLSI design (power, performance, thermal, mechanical)
  • Good software skills in C++ and python
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and chip design
  • Pursuing an advanced degree in a related focus area (CS or EE)
  • Digital and/or analog design, layout and semi-conductor processing/packaging knowledge is a plus (equivalent to a graduate course in analog circuits or a course in VLSI design and/or a course in semiconductor physics)

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
