Student Success Team Academic Coordinator The University of Pittsburgh is seeking experienced, positive, conscientious, and student-centered advising professionals as candidates for Academic Coordinators, members of the Student Success Team in the Office of the Provost. Student Success in the Office of the Provost positively impacts the student experience by providing holistic academic resources and collaborative professional development to ensure that every student has the chance to succeed and feel they belong at Pitt, regardless of their background or situation. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience serving at-promise student populations, including first-generation, lower-income college students, exploratory students, and those who may be struggling academically. Job Summary Utilizes advanced advising knowledge, theory, and practical experience to serve as an academic liaison for students to identify academic and career goals, select appropriate courses, and plan for degree attainment. Manages small to medium-sized, moderately complex projects. Essential Functions Advises and coaches a caseload of diverse students regarding academic and supplemental requirements, academic policies and procedures, and campus resources.
