Description
The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a full time Lead Community Mental Health Trainer (CMHT) to develop, conduct, and assist in the evaluation of trainings for Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) mental health professionals working in the Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement (HOME) team on evidence-based treatment approaches for adults with severe mental illness in Los Angeles County. The Lead CMHT will be responsible for providing technical assistance to community providers working on the HOME team. Trainings may address topics such as, trauma, improving access to mental health services, and enhancing engagement with complex clients experiencing homelessness. Trainings may also include modules on quality monitoring, quality improvement, and program evaluation including using qualitative and quantitative data.
