The Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is seeking a .5 Research Study Manager for primary support of a one-year grant focused on patient education tools to be used with women who have been circumcised. The Research Study Manager will provide overall administrative project management, coordinate and collaborate with community partners, oversee participant recruitment, data collection, coordination, regulatory management. Data collection will be in both Somali and English. This position will be 20 hours a week. Position Responsibilities: Project Management and regulatory requirements 20%: Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the study under the direction of the principal investigator (PI) Dr. Jennifer Connor. Recruitment Activities 25%: Oversee and help to coordinate participant recruitment. Work with study investigators, community partners, and community engagement staff/recruiters to create and disseminate recruitment plan and materials. Data Collection 25%: Conduct interviews and consent participants in either Somali or English. Data Management and Monitoring 10%: Create, maintain, and manage all electronic and non-electronic data. Study Regulatory requirements 10%: Assure that all IRB, granting agency, and University, regulations for the grant are adhered to. Project Dissemination 10%: Work with project investigators and staff on the development of project study plans, presentations, and publications. Qualifications
