Position Summary: The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position and is intended for individuals who have limited manufacturing experience. The Machine Operator I handles the basic deburring, buffing, sanding, and tumble operations and works independently and in a team environment. They also complete tasks within Finishing, Engraving, Cerakote, Black Oxide, and MagCell. Overall daily responsibilities can include minor assembly, working with small hand tools, sand blasters, and tumblers to finish mechanical parts. The Machine Operator also engraves serial numbers and other engravings on SIG SAUER firearms as required and/or requested by our customers using various laser cutting machines to meet defined output rates.
