Assistant / Associate / Professor of Pathology (Dept. of Health Sciences Education & Pathology) Assistant / Associate / Professor of Pathology (Dept. of Health Sciences Education & Pathology) Hiring Department: UICOMP-HSEP Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1028431 Posting Close Date: 12/31/2024 The Department of Health Sciences Education and Pathology is seeking a Pathologist to join our teaching faculty. The primary focus for this position is teaching general and systems pathology in the Illinois Medicine Curriculum within the undergraduate medical education program. The curriculum integrates basic, clinical and social sciences throughout all phases. The phase 1 curriculum is an integrated block design in undergraduate medical years 1 and 2 with pathology taught throughout the blocks. Phase 2 and 3 are the clinical years with the opportunity to develop electives to further integrate the basic science in the clinical years.
