About Us: A division within the Department of Emergency Medicine, the Center for Disaster Medicine (CDM) (https://www.massgeneral.org/disaster-medicine) houses numerous grant-funded programs that focus on Disaster Medicine, Healthcare Preparedness and Emergency Management, and High Consequence Infectious Diseases. The CDM team is comprised of interdisciplinary subject matter experts, including national and international experts in their fields, leading the development of preparedness programs and resources to meet current and future healthcare challenges. About the Work: Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Funded Projects in the Center for Disaster Medicine, the Project Manager will work as part of a team to support all project activities for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded initiative to establish Regional Centers for Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (PHEPR). This individual will work with the site Principal Investigator (PI), the Co-PIs, and the T.H. Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) team on assigned project activities to support the development of the Regional Coordinating Body and Regional Center Workplans for the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Region 1 Center in New England.

1. Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans and timelines in collaboration with project leadership and internal and external subject matter experts.
|
2. Support the recruitment and administrative needs of Regional Coordinating Body members.
|
3. Participate in meetings with the HSPH and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) teams on behalf of CDM.
|
4. Inform HSPH reporting on current and pending activities, project progress, and timelines.
|
5. Support the development, drafting, review, and feedback process of workplans.
|
6. Serve as a liaison between the Region 1 Regional Disaster Health Response System (RDHRS) within CDM and the Regional Coordinating Body to build upon the successes of each program and leverage the existing regional network already under development by the RDHRS.
|
7. Communicate with and support internal and external partners, committees, and agencies regarding project activities and priorities.
|
8. Assist in the coordination of all project activities to support a cohesive final product.
