Job Title Global Change and Communications Lead
Job Description Summary The Communications and Change Management Manager will play a vital role in supporting our global commercial real estate services team, driving effective communication strategies and managing change initiatives across diverse teams. This role will work closely with senior leaders across all service lines (FM, Project Management, Workplace Strategy and Portfolio Management), project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive, transparent, and engaging communication that aligns with organizational goals and enhances the experience for employees, clients, and partners. This individual will lead efforts to minimize change-related disruptions while enabling smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices.
Job Description Key Responsibilities: Change Management
- Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to identify what is changing and to maximize employee engagement within the Real Estate organization and minimize resistance to change.
- Conduct impact assessments, identify key stakeholders, and manage readiness activities.
- Collaborate with Sr. Leaders and project teams to design and deliver change management programs, including training, coaching, and reinforcement plans.
- Measure and report on the success of change management initiatives, adapting plans as needed to address challenges and ensure effective outcomes.
Communications Strategy & Execution
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive internal and external communication strategies that support the commercial real estate services team's objectives.
- Craft messaging for diverse audiences, including employees, senior leadership, clients, and partners, tailoring content to meet the unique needs of each group.
- Develop and distribute content across various channels, such as email, intranet, newsletters, social media, and presentations.
- Maintain a calendar of communications activities across all service lines for the portfolio of projects and initiatives. Proactively obtain the necessary information from the leaders to ensure communications are timely submitted to uphold and improve the real estate brand globally.
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams across all services to ensure alignment and consistency in communications.
Measurement and Reporting
- Track the communications submitted and gather necessary data insights ensure the communications are reaching the intended audience.
- Use insights from metrics to refine and improve communication and change management strategies continually.
- Conduct feedback sessions with stakeholders and adapt approaches based on insights to improve impact and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in communications and change management, preferably in a global or corporate environment.
- Proven ability to lead change management initiatives, with experience in project management methodologies.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messages and presentations.
- Experience working within commercial real estate, professional services, or related industries is preferred.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office Suite tools, project management tools, and internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Ability to work with diverse, multicultural teams and adapt to various regional needs and cultural nuances.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
