The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District. As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, this role is responsible for assisting in directing and administering the implementation of all safety operations to ensure that the guests, associates, and property are maintained in a safe and secure environment, and that all guest and associate situations are resolved in a timely manner.



Responsibilities

    Reviews all reports completed by Security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Monitors all traffic in the lobby, restaurant, restrooms, parking area, bars, and back of the house area.
  • Ensures thorough and complete investigation for all incidents incurred by guests and associates (i.e., losses, thefts, accidents). Complete within 48 hours.
  • Maintains surveillance procedures through-out the property.
  • Ensures that all phases of the key control program are maintained, and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Managing Director and Director of Engineering.
  • Must maintain comprehensive understanding of all emergency procedures and radio codes.
  • Ensures that all hotel service levels are maintained and aids when necessary.
  • Acts as the hotel representative when resolving guest problems and concerns.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.
  • Liaise with all department heads to ensure hotel associates are adhering to established safety and security procedures.
  • Responsible for ongoing Security department training.
  • Attend all required department trainings and meetings.


Qualifications

  • Previous security experience required.
  • Previous Hotel/Lodging experience required.
  • Red Cross and First Aid Certified.
  • ServSafe Alcohol certified
  • Be available 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies within the property.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift moderate to heavy weight.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.
