*** This is a Temporary Position from 11/01/2024 to 1/31/2028 *** Job Summary: The Postdoctoral Fellowship provides mentoring and additional training that will prepare a recent doctoral graduate for an independent position in teaching, direct services, or research. Performs other duties as needed. The Hurtz lab is seeking a dynamic and passionate postdoctoral researcher to engage in innovative and impactful research on acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). As the most common cancer in children, ALL presents unique challenges, and our lab is at the forefront of unraveling its complexities to identify novel treatment strategies. At the Hurtz lab, we leverage state-of-the-art technologies, including high-throughput screening, proteomics, clinical samples, and advanced mouse models, to understand the mechanisms driving this disease. Our ultimate goal is to discover and validate breakthrough therapies that could transform patient care. We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to advance their academic research career and contribute to cutting-edge science. The candidate must be familiar with flow cytometry, RT-PCR, Western blotting, and gene cloning as these techniques are essential for this role. This position offers the opportunity to:
