SUMMARY

To ship all customers order under his responsibility in a timely and accurate manner by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned

Get daily pick list/ order report.
1. Coordinate with customer representative and/or production planner for special shipments.
2. Verify stock available following FIFO procedures, assign pick location and give to warehouse operators to prepare.
3. Process invoices and ASNs for all orders picked in a correct and timely manner.
4. Verify orders and quantities are picked in accordance to customer orders.
5. Print all unit related e-mails and ship in accordance to instructions on e-mails.
6. Verify loading of material is correct and proper carrier is used.
7. Report any problems or shipping irregularities to supervisor and/or customer representative.
8. Responsible for the Inventory accuracy of the items assigned to him/her
9. Maintain good housekeeping and material care practices
10. Maintain good care of the equipment assigned to him/her
11. Follow Safety practices to protect him/her and his/her peers
12. Other assignments as deemed necessary by his/her supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1. GED or High School diploma
2. Bilingual preferred
3. 1 year experience in Warehouse environment (Automotive or similar high-activity level environment preferred)
4. Valid Forklift driver license
5. Computer literate
6. Bar code user previous experience, UPS/FedEx system user knowledge
7. Multi-task individual, able to work in different assignments and willing to learn to work with different Customer accounts
