- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration from an accredited university (required)
- PMP or other project management certification or equivalent experience (PMP equivalent to 3 years of related work experience) required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management, including successful oversight of large, complex projects or programs (required)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the software or utility industry, including progressively responsible experience in the development of application systems (required)
- PMI-ACP certification (preferred)
- Must be able to obtain ITIL Certification within one year of hire

Job Purpose: Maintains strong business partnerships and alignment, ensuring successful execution of transformation programs in alignment with business strategy, delivery of stable technology products and improving our services to ensure business satisfaction. Manages the business alignment, planning, development and implementation of technology products by defining scope, objectives and charter for associated initiatives, while adhering to a project communication plan, identifying, managing and resolving issues and risks. Directs the activities of resources assigned to the initiative and coordinates their functions to complete the project within the established scope, schedule, cost and quality standards defined by the Technology Delivery Management capability. Primary Functions:
- Identify business needs and oversee technology delivery within the business context;
- Build partnerships and liaise cross functionally to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise;
- Lead the technology delivery team through execution, manage conflict, and ensure the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently;
- Enable consolidated view of trouble tickets, underlying platform issues and new requirements to ensure technology execution is well thought out and executed;
- Engage Enterprise Architecture proactively to ensure consistency, adherence to standards and proper designs;
- Develop plans and schedules at a task based level for the entire lifecycle of a project, accounting for all key functions as it relates to business, data, application, security, integration, infrastructure, network, database, storage and support;
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress and provide status on a consistent basis;
- Manage project budgets;
- Collaborate with resource managers to ensure appropriate assignment of resources and monitor resources accordingly to ensure timely completion of projects within budget;
- Provide meeting notes and decisions;
- Document and track project risks and identify possible solutions;
- Document project issues and ensure resolution to critical and high project impacting issues;
- Provide stakeholder and other relevant team communications on pertinent information regarding the project;
- Ensure projects are delivered per defined contracts or statement of work with various vendors/partners;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge in all, but not limited, to the following:
- Making critical decisions or recommendations related to approving, rejecting and discontinuing projects;
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audience;
- Ability to manage projects in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid delivery methodologies;

- Project Plans, scope documents, budget preparation, Project Charter;
- Project management tools and methodologies;
- Time sheets and Work Order documentation;
- Project management and business management computer software;
- Executive-level summary reports and presentations;
- Quality Assurance methodologies;

- Disaster Recovery procedures;
- Project Outcomes (Results) such as meter reads, network throughput, data interfaces, reports;

- Familiarity with all, but not limited to the following:
- ITIL practices (Information Technology Infrastructure Library);

- Software Application (i.e.CC&B, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (ERP), Outage Management System, IT Telephony, IVR, Enterprise Service Bus, Meter Data Management (MDM), Automated Meter Infrastructure, Prepaid Metering, Database and Storage Area Network Systems, Graphical Infrastructure System (GIS), Windows, Linux, Unix Server Operating Systems, and Web Facing Initiatives);
- Related industry, organizational and departmental policies, practices, and procedures; legal guidelines, ordinances, and laws;
- Implementing Clarity Resource and Finance Management;
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and standard office equipment (telephone, computer, copier, etc.).
